Fearful of walking into a "fitness studio", I took a leap of faith when I saw FBBL and found Laura -- who took my workout regime and turned it upside down. In all honesty, going to the gym has never been my favorite thing to do. But, thanks to Laura and her amazing patience, motivation, and expertise, working out is now a part of my life. I have consistently worked out for a year and I couldn't be happier with the results. In the last year, I haven't had sciatic pain or any joint issue. I have gained stamina and strength. Although I haven't reached my ideal weight goal, I have discovered a new appreciation for working out. I'm a work in progress. I have been working out with Laura for close to a year, not to lose weight, but to gain healthier muscle weight as I struggled to put on weight. I just want to give a shout-out to all the hard-working moms! Make time for yourself. I have 2 children, work the second shift, and with all my craziness put on a lot of weight over the last 10 years! But happy to say I finally knew it was time for mommy to get healthy and the hubby to get back the woman he married. It's never too late. I give thanks that I was introduced to Laura our trainer! Not only does she look fabulous but is fabulous on the inside which is Sooo hard to find. She really cares and pushes you to be the best you can be. I'm 30lbs lighter, I can finally run, and jump which was nonexistent before I trained with Laura. I enjoy going to work out and continue my journey. It took 10 years to put on the weight and I know this is going to take some time to take it off, but I feel like I'm finally on the right track. Ladies put yourselves first!

I've battled with obesity since childhood and have tried many things throughout my life...fad diets, Jenny Craig, multiple gym memberships, but those were temporary fixes. My friend Michelle Velasco referred me to Laura because she is a regular at her Bootcamp and raved about how awesome she is. Now I can rave to other people about how awesome she is as well! In the few months, I've been her client, she has taught me about self-motivation and the drive to keep ongoing. Strength training was something I ignored in the past and tended to focus on cardio. With Laura's help and support, I can totally see a difference in my strength both mentally and physically. Laura meets all the requirements that I need in a trainer: nonjudgmental, motivating, knowledgeable, and flexible scheduling. I love that she makes me feel empowered and strong. I’ve been training with Laura for over a year now and she's constantly challenging me while maintaining a high level of fun with her results-driven workouts. Laurie has taught me techniques that have toned and strengthened my entire body all the while keeping me motivated for more! As a busy professional, I’m extremely limited on time but always carve out an hour 3X a week to train with Laura. That hour goes by in a flash because Laurie's high-energy workouts are never the same and you won't be anticipating what’s coming next. She is patient while explaining exercises (sometimes over and over again) to ensure proper form for optimum outcome. I respect Laura’s sensible and careful training approach. She answers all of my fitness questions thoughtfully and is always upbeat, positive, inspirational, and has been instrumental in motivating me to achieve my fitness goals.
